1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of johnsonsbuildingservices.co.uk and any enquiry you submit through it. Specific quotations and contracts for building works are issued separately and take precedence over these website terms.
2. Quotations
All quotations issued by Johnsons Building Services are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated in writing. Quotations are based on information provided by the client and visible site conditions; unforeseen structural issues may require a written variation.
3. Acceptance & deposits
Works commence on receipt of a signed quotation acceptance and any agreed deposit. Stage payments are typically agreed in writing and tied to defined project milestones.
4. Workmanship guarantee
We provide a 10-year workmanship guarantee on structural elements completed by us, and a 5-year guarantee on plumbing and electrical installations. Manufacturer warranties on supplied products apply separately and are registered in your name.
5. Insurance
We carry £5 million public liability insurance. Certificates are available on request.
6. Permissions
The client is responsible for ensuring they hold any required planning permission, freeholder consent or party-wall agreements, unless we are formally instructed to manage the application on their behalf.
7. Website content
All content on this website is provided in good faith but is not a substitute for a formal quotation or professional advice. We reserve the right to update prices, services and copy without notice.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
